The Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Kookmin University (President Jeong Seung-ryeol) announced on the 27th that the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center Bukhansan Valley (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Center’), entrusted by Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung), signed a business agreement with the Korea Startup Instructors Association and will promote future cooperation.
This business agreement was made through the 5th networking event of 2024 held at the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center, and both organizations are expected to continue close cooperation in promoting the ‘Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok Incubation Growth Partners Project 2024 (hereinafter SBA Incubation Growth Partners Project)’ led by the Korea Startup Instructors Association (President Hwang Bo-yoon) and the Seoul Business Agency.
The SBA Incubation Growth Partners Project, led by the Korea Startup Instructors Association, targets a total of 20 startups mainly located in the northwestern region of Seoul, providing △ diagnosis of business model excellence or derivation of quantitative strategic directions △ 1:1 mentoring support with patent attorneys for intellectual property rights acquisition △ support for deriving product/service specifications based on customer satisfaction to increase sales △ 1:1 mentoring support with venture investors for successful investment attraction △ focused promotion through media and SNS to enhance brand strength and increase sales.
Kim Hyun-i, Deputy Director of the Eunpyeong Startup Support Center, who is in charge of cooperation with the Korea Startup Instructors Association, said, “The purpose of this business cooperation is to develop the startup ecosystem in the relatively underdeveloped northwestern region of Seoul,” adding, “In particular, through the support of the Seoul Business Agency and cooperation with the Korea Startup Instructors Association, we expect management support for startups centered in Eunpyeong-gu to be revitalized.”
