RaonSecure Signs Agreement with Korea's No.1 Caregiving Company Visiting Angels Korea to Utilize XR-Based Practical Training Content

RaonSecure is helping to enhance the capabilities of caregivers by utilizing immersive caregiving content on ‘Raon Metademy,’ the world’s first metaverse-based practical training platform.

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (CEO Lee Soon-hyung, Lee Jung-ah) has signed a business agreement with Visiting Angels Korea (CEO Kim Han-soo), the nation’s top senior care specialist company, for “Metaverse-based caregiver practical training cooperation.”

Through this agreement, RaonSecure plans to provide metaverse-based caregiving practical training content accessible anytime and anywhere to caregivers at Visiting Angels Korea’s 127 branches nationwide, thereby improving the efficiency and effectiveness of caregiver training. Unlike video-based training, Raon Metademy’s immersive caregiving content offers caregivers the opportunity to practice, replacing the previously offline-only training opportunities with metaverse-based practice, which is expected to significantly increase training opportunities.

Additionally, RaonSecure will produce new caregiving practical training content such as middle-class care practice for caregivers and apply it to Visiting Angels Korea’s B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (government and public institutions) services. They also plan to promote cooperation in various fields to enhance trust in the caregiving market, including caregiver identity verification using RaonSecure’s OmniOne digital ID.

Visiting Angels is a global senior care specialist company headquartered in the United States, with over 900 branches worldwide in countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Korea. Visiting Angels Korea is the Korean branch of Visiting Angels, operating 127 branches nationwide and providing all necessary services for the elderly through advanced senior care services and reliable, skilled caregivers.

RaonSecure’s Raon Metademy is the only metaverse-based practical training platform in Korea, offering a highly immersive and realistic training environment that enhances trainees’ concentration during practice. Various specialized training contents, including nursing skills, physical therapy, caregiving, IT security, drones, and medical professional content, are continuously being added.

In February, RaonSecure signed a business agreement with Catholic University Eunpyeong St. Mary’s Hospital and is currently jointly developing medical professional training content. In April, it also signed agreements with drone development specialist company RealTech and metaverse content development specialist StudioCoin, leading efforts to create a virtuous business cycle where metaverse content production companies and practical training education companies can coexist based on Raon Metademy.
