Samsung C&T Selected as Contractor for 232 Billion Won Jamwon Riverside Remodeling Project

4 Buildings, 389 Households... Complex Name 'One Felice'

Samsung C&T Construction Division announced on the 26th that it has been selected as the contractor for the remodeling project of Gangbyeon Apartments in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

The association approved the agenda to finalize Samsung C&T as the contractor at the general meeting held the previous day. The Jamwon Gangbyeon remodeling project involves constructing four apartment buildings with 389 units and auxiliary welfare facilities on the site at 53-15 Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, ranging from six basement floors to 20 above-ground floors. The construction cost is approximately 232 billion KRW.

This complex is located near Jamwon Station on Subway Line 3 and is adjacent to Olympic-daero and the Gyeongbu Expressway. Right next to it is Jamwon Hangang Park, allowing residents to enjoy the Han River, and within a three-minute walking distance are Shindong Elementary School and Shindong Middle School.

The new complex name is "Raemian Shinbanpo ONE FELICHE (ONE FELIC)." It combines "One," meaning unity, and "Felice," meaning abundance.

The exterior of the new complex will feature a curtain wall look and landscape lighting inspired by the waves of the Han River. Premium community facilities such as a golf practice range and a private cinema will also be implemented. Additionally, the rooftops of three buildings will be connected to create a 270-meter-long sky deck rooftop garden, and a sky lounge will be located on the 20th floor. The center of the complex will include a plaza with an indoor garden and waterside space, along with walking paths.

Byun Dong-gyu, General Manager of the Remodeling Team at the Housing Business Headquarters, said, "Remodeling is a business with high potential for growth. We will do our best to ensure the success of the project based on Raemian’s remodeling experience and differentiated technology."

Meanwhile, Samsung C&T has been operating a dedicated remodeling team since 2021. It holds 29 patents related to remodeling.
