Shinsegae Department Store, K-Fashion82 'People of the World' Popup Open

For 2 weeks until the 5th of next month

Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 26th that it will showcase the pop-up store of the representative brand of KFashion82, a platform launched to support the growth and export of emerging designer brands, offline for the first time.

The protagonist of the first offline pop-up store is 'People of the World.' Founded in Korea in 2002, People of the World is a genderless brand that uses bold materials and colors and pursues the beauty of elegant classics.


The pop-up store, located on the 3rd floor of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch, has been operating since the 23rd and will run for two weeks until the 5th of next month. The pop-up store will introduce signature products such as logo T-shirts and shirts, as well as new items for the 2024 Spring/Summer (S/S) season.


Additionally, a collection released in collaboration with the global sports brand 'Reebok' will be exclusively showcased. During the pop-up store period, discounts of up to 40% will be offered.


Meanwhile, Shinsegae Department Store's KFashion82 helps new brands without export experience, who find it difficult to connect with overseas buyers, and small and medium-sized enterprises lacking the personnel and know-how to handle complex contracts and logistics procedures, to pioneer overseas markets. Currently, more than 250 designer brands and major overseas buyers from the US, Europe, Japan, and other regions continuously communicate through the KFashion82 platform.


Park Sang-eon, head of the KFashion82 division at Shinsegae Department Store, said, “We are introducing ‘People of the World,’ which has achieved good results on KFashion82, to department store customers,” adding, “We will continue to discover and introduce emerging domestic designer brands and provide unwavering support so that small and medium-sized brands can achieve success both domestically and internationally.”
