[Photo] Gwangjin Residents' Day Commemoration Event with Gwangjin Family Festival

On the 25th, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) held the '29th Gwangjin Residents' Day' commemorative event at the lawn square of Children's Grand Park.

At the Residents' Day ceremony, an award ceremony for exemplary residents who have dedicated and volunteered for the local community was held. This year, in the individual category, Jang Guk-hwan received the award in the economic and community development sector, Son In-chang in the volunteer and donation sector, and Shim Jeong-ja in the filial piety sector. In the group category, Ilsan TS Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Seung-yong) was honored in the volunteer and donation sector. Along with the commemorative event, various cultural and sports activities for families to enjoy were added.

From early morning, the PangPang Playground installed in the Four Seasons Garden inside Children's Grand Park attracted great popularity. At the Gwangjin Family Festival, events such as a writing contest, drawing competition, family film festival, and recreational sports programs heated up the atmosphere.

District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho said, "We planned this event hoping that all residents would enjoy it together outdoors by combining the Gwangjin Residents' Day ceremony with the Gwangjin Family Festival," and added, "We will do our best for communication and harmony with the residents."
