Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) held the "2024 Seodaemun-gu Residents Sports Festival" on the 25th at the Seodaemun-gu Artificial Turf Stadium under the catchphrase "Let's Gather! Let's Enjoy! United as One!"

The event, held for the first time in 20 years, saw the participation of about 2,500 people, including resident athletes and cheering squads from 14 neighborhoods of Seodaemun-gu. The resident athletes competed fiercely for the victory of their respective neighborhoods in five events: ▲Large Ball Rolling ▲Centipede Relay ▲Ojami (beanbag) Basket Toss ▲Group Jump Rope ▲Relay Race. Additionally, various side events and activities were organized to enhance the participants' interest.

On this day, the overall championship was awarded to Namgajwa 1-dong, the runner-up titles went to Bukgajwa 2-dong and Hong Eun 2-dong, and the excellence awards were given to Bukahyeon-dong, Yeonhui-dong, and Hongje 2-dong.
