Osan 7-5 City Bus Route Extended Starting from the 27th

Terminal Gisu-dong → Seo 1 District Change

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that from the 27th, city bus route 7-5 will be extended to Seo1 District (Seodong) Hanyang Sujain and The Sharp Eliforea Apartments.

The existing route 7-5 bus started from Dugok-dong Senior Center and operated via Osan Station Transfer Center - Culture Street - Namchon Five-way Intersection - Hyundai Terra Tower - Nuup-dong Humansia, ending at Gaseu-dong Neulpureun Oscarville Apartments. However, from this day, the terminal will be changed to Seo1 District. The city also plans to replace the buses deployed on this route from medium-sized buses to large buses.

The extended route will operate the first bus at 6:15 AM from Hanyang Sujain and The Sharp Eliforea Apartments, and at 5:30 AM from Dugok-dong Senior Center. The last bus will be at 9:55 PM on weekdays and 9:40 PM on Saturdays and holidays from Hanyang Sujain and The Sharp Eliforea Apartments, and at 10:40 PM on weekdays and 10:20 PM on Saturdays and holidays from Dugok-dong Senior Center.

Meanwhile, this route extension project was promoted by Osan Mayor Lee Gwon-jae in response to the requests of residents of Seo1 District apartments who wanted connection to elementary school routes and Osan Station hubs. An Osan City official expressed expectations that "this route extension will significantly alleviate the bus usage inconvenience for about 1,700 households residing in Seo1 District apartments."
