Hancom and Gyeonggi-do Cheong Demonstrate AI Document Solution 'Hancom Assistant'

Hancom announced on the 24th that it will conduct a proof of concept (PoC) to support the utilization of its AI intelligent document creation solution, 'Hancom Assistant,' for administrative tasks in Gyeonggi Provincial Government.

This PoC is the first case of Hancom Assistant being used in a public institution local government and will be conducted over approximately three months. Gyeonggi Provincial Government plans to be the first local government nationwide to introduce an AI document creation solution to improve administrative work efficiency and innovate public services.

Gyeonggi Provincial Government will use Hancom Assistant to perform various administrative tasks such as writing press releases, establishing work plans, and preparing event plans. Depending on future conditions, it also plans to conduct a PoC with Hancom's AI-based Q&A solution, 'Hancom Pidia.'

The Hancom Assistant applied in this PoC is an AI-based document solution utilizing a large language model (LLM) that analyzes the document creator's intent and automatically generates documents and graphs suited to the purpose. It features efficient document creation by completing drafts based on basic document information and automatically extracting necessary data.

Starting with this PoC, Hancom will seek AI collaboration with various public institutions. Following the AI training data extraction solution 'Hancom Data Loader,' it plans to strengthen its public AI market presence by consecutively launching the AI-based Q&A solution 'Hancom Pidia' and the subscription-based document editing service 'Hancom Docs AI,' which includes AI automatic document creation features.
