Busan Dongnae Office of Education (Superintendent Lee Sugum) will be conducting the '2024 New Teacher Competency Enhancement Training' for 57 newly appointed middle school teachers in the district until the end of August.

This training has been prepared to enhance the professional expertise and on-site adaptability of new teachers.

Dongnae Office of Education will operate this training in two phases, divided by themes and subjects.

The first phase will begin on the 27th in the main conference room of the education office with a keynote lecture by Choi Yungyu, Director of Cartoon Management Research Institute, on 'The Role of Teachers in Nurturing Creative and Convergent Talents in the AI Era.'

Following this, four instructors, including Yoon Geunhwa from Namil Middle School, will each give lectures on four topics: 'Student Record Writing,' 'Classroom Management,' 'Assessment Item Development,' and 'Case-Based School Counseling.'

The second phase, running from July to August, will be conducted as a mentoring program with 16 experienced teachers by subject. Together with the new teachers, they will engage in various activities to enhance subject-specific teaching competencies, such as lesson planning and guidance, as well as written and performance assessments.
