Aseptic filling is a method of filling sterilized beverages into PET bottles in aseptic equipment that prevents external bacterial contamination. The company explained that since there is no heat treatment process for sterilization during this procedure, it can maximize the retention of nutrients in the raw materials while preserving their unique taste and aroma.
Additionally, compared to regular PET beverages, the amount of plastic used is about 20% less, making it environmentally friendly, and the transparent design provides consumers with a visual sense of refreshment.
Seo Beom-won, CEO of Dongwon Systems, stated, "Through continuous investment for expansion and sales growth, we aim to produce up to 1 billion bottles and achieve annual sales of 300 billion KRW at the Hoengseong plant." He added, "We will enhance customer trust with the highest quality and develop this site into the largest beverage production base in Korea by creating new added value through continuous investment."
