With the early heatwave, the demand for outdoor activities has increased, making mobility-related products popular.


Funding platform Wadiz announced on the 24th that it achieved an 18-fold increase in transaction volume compared to the same period last year by successfully promoting high-priced products such as canoes and bicycles during the 'Mobility Week.'


Wadiz holds a 'Category Week' every month, and from the 3rd to the 19th of this month, it conducted the 'Mobility Week.' This special event introduced over 130 projects in the automobile and mobility sectors, featuring innovative ideas and product capabilities.

This Mobility Week drew explosive responses from consumers, with the number of new payments increasing 28 times compared to the same period last year. Although the products were launched at high prices exceeding 1 million won, participation from consumers passionate about mobility was remarkable. Purchases were mainly made by men in their 30s and 40s who have a strong interest in automobiles and related accessories.


Notable success stories include foldable canoes, digital keys, car mats, and electric bicycles. The 'foldable canoe' was launched with stability and reasonable pricing, achieving 80 million won in pre-orders. Innovative mobility products that enhance quality of life, such as the digital key 'Keyple' that allows driving without a car key, the 'car mat' that helps maintain comfort during long drives or car camping, and the 'electric bicycle' capable of traveling 100 km on a single charge, attracted significant attention.


A Wadiz representative said, “Through this special exhibition, we once again confirmed the strong demand for recent mobility technologies and products. We aim to provide more opportunities to small business owners who have ideas and manufacturing capabilities but face limitations in offline distribution, and to showcase a diverse range of innovative products that improve quality of life.”
