Cadastral Reorganization Committee to Convene on 24th
Review of Designation for 1,696 Parcels in 9 Districts
Ulsan City will hold the 'Cadastral Resurvey Committee' meeting at 2 p.m. on the 3rd floor of Annex 1 at City Hall on the 24th.
This committee, attended by over 10 members including deliberation committee members, will review the designation of the '2024 Cadastral Resurvey Project Districts' for nine areas, including Seodong 2 District in Jung-gu.
The cadastral resurvey project will be carried out in nine areas: Seodong 2 District in Jung-gu, Jangsaengpo 1 District in Nam-gu, Bang-eo 10 and 11 Districts in Dong-gu, Muryong 1 District in Buk-gu, Dudong Wolpyeong 2 District in Ulju-gun, Sangbuk Jinae 2 and 3 Districts, and Samdong Jakdong 1 District, covering a total of 1,696 parcels and 532,410 square meters.
This project will be conducted with a national budget of 404.26 million KRW and will continue until December 31, 2025.
The main contents of the cadastral resurvey project include high-resolution aerial photography using drones to determine parcel boundaries, resurvey and measurement of individual parcels, boundary adjustment consultations, and installation of confirmed boundary markers.
Previously, since November last year, Ulsan City has prepared for the project by establishing implementation plans with district and county offices and holding resident briefing sessions to collect opinions, obtaining consent from more than two-thirds of the landowners within the project districts.
An Ulsan City official stated, "The cadastral resurvey project is a national project carried out from surveying to registration without any cost burden on citizens," and added, "As this project aims to resolve inconveniences and disputes caused by land boundary discrepancies, we hope for active participation from citizens within the project districts."
The cadastral resurvey project, in accordance with the 'Special Act on Cadastral Resurvey,' aims to correct cadastral records that do not match the actual status of land, convert cadastral maps to digital format, and protect property rights and efficiently manage national land. This national project will continue until 2030.
