Yongin City Recruiting 5 Companies to Participate in 'CES 2025'

Support for Booth Rental, Equipment, and Transportation Fees Until the 27th of Next Month

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 24th that it is recruiting five companies to participate in the Yongin City group pavilion at 'CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2025,' scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, USA, in January next year.


'CES' is the world's largest information technology (IT) and electronics exhibition organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the United States. Advanced companies from various countries participate to showcase the latest technologies in fields such as IT, artificial intelligence (AI), digital health, food tech, mobility, and blockchain.

Next year's event is scheduled to take place from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Yongin City will operate a group pavilion at CES 2025. The booth will be located within KOTRA's integrated Korea Pavilion.


The city will support participating companies by covering up to 75% of the exhibition booth rental and installation costs, and will also provide additional support for transportation fees and innovation award application fees.


Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the 'Yongin Enterprise Support System' website by June 27. Application forms, required documents, and announcements can be checked on the site.


A city official stated, "We decided to support participation so that local companies can attend international exhibitions, understand industry trends, and prepare for the future," adding, "We hope companies will pioneer overseas markets and grow through this exhibition."


Meanwhile, from the 28th of this month to the 1st of next month, the city will also operate a group pavilion at the food exhibition (Thaifex Anuga Asia) held in Bangkok, Thailand, supporting six local small and medium-sized enterprises. From the 3rd to the 8th of next month, a Middle East market development delegation consisting of 11 small and medium-sized enterprises will be dispatched to the United Arab Emirates, T?rkiye, and other countries to support overseas market expansion.
