Inland Gyeongsang Region Daytime Highs Above 30°C with Hot Weather
Showers of 5-20mm Expected from Afternoon in Gangwon Yeongseo, Daegu, and Inland Gyeongbuk

On Friday the 24th, daytime temperatures will rise above 25 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country, with inland areas of Gyeongsang Province reaching over 30 degrees Celsius. Showers are expected in the southwestern part of Gangwon Yeongseo and inland Gyeongsang from late afternoon.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 23rd, from early dawn to morning, occasional rain is expected in northeastern Gyeonggi, Gangwon Yeongdong, and central to northern Gangwon Yeongseo, with light drizzle below 0.1mm in southern Gangwon Yeongseo. The expected precipitation amount is less than 5mm in northeastern Gyeonggi and Gangwon Province (excluding southern Gangwon Yeongseo).


From late afternoon to evening, showers are forecasted in southern Gangwon Yeongseo and inland Gyeongsang. Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 20mm in southern Gangwon Yeongseo, Daegu, inland Gyeongbuk, and inland Gyeongnam.


Visibility will be reduced and roads may be slippery in areas experiencing rain or showers, so caution is advised for traffic safety.


Until morning, dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected mainly along the Incheon and Gyeonggi west coast, southwestern inland Gyeonggi, Chungnam region, and Jeolla region. In the Gangwon mountain area, dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is forecast due to low clouds.


The lowest temperatures tomorrow morning are expected to range from 12 to 19 degrees Celsius, and the highest daytime temperatures from 19 to 30 degrees Celsius. Daytime highs will be 25 degrees in Seoul, 28 degrees in Daejeon, 29 degrees in Daegu, 30 degrees in Gwangju, 28 degrees in Jeonju, 25 degrees in Busan, 23 degrees in Ulsan, and 24 degrees in Jeju.


In Gangwon Yeongdong and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, temperatures will drop to around 20 degrees Celsius due to the inflow of easterly winds.


Fine dust levels are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate' across all regions. However, in Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and Chungnam, residual fine dust may temporarily reach 'Unhealthy' levels at night.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore.


Wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
