Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, inspected the site of the popular singer Lim Young-woong's concert, which will be held on the 25th and 26th, at Sangam World Cup Stadium on the morning of the 23rd.
In April last year, during the 2023 Hana One Q K League match between FC Seoul and Daegu FC, a ceremonial kickoff event featuring singer Lim Young-woong attracted over 40,000 spectators to Sangam World Cup Stadium. At that time, Mapo District anticipated a large crowd and conducted a preliminary safety inspection, and also managed safety on the day of the match.
This year as well, Mayor Park Gang-su and Mapo District staff, anticipating a large number of visitors to the concert venue at Sangam World Cup Stadium, checked facilities such as the stage and audience movement routes, and shared emergency response plans.
Mayor Park Gang-su emphasized, “Since many attendees come accompanied by guardians as well as audience members, the crowd may be larger than expected, so please ensure thorough safety management,” adding, “I hope you will carefully inspect not only inside and outside the venue but also the parking lot and World Cup Stadium Station without any gaps.”
Mapo District plans to conduct safety guidance inside and outside Sangam World Cup Stadium during the weekend when Lim Young-woong's concert takes place.
