Cause of Late Park Boram's Death Revealed... National Forensic Service "Suspected Acute Alcohol Poisoning"

Suddenly Passed Away on the 11th of Last Month

The final autopsy results indicate that singer Park Boram (30) is presumed to have died from acute alcohol poisoning.


According to the Namyangju Nambu Police Station on the 23rd, the police recently received the final autopsy report from the National Forensic Service stating that "death is presumed to have been caused by acute alcohol poisoning."


At the time of death, Park Boram was known to be in poor health due to diseases such as liver cirrhosis and fatty liver. No other suspected causes of death were found besides acute alcohol poisoning.

On the 11th of last month, at around 9:55 p.m., Park Boram lost consciousness and collapsed at an acquaintance's house in Namyangju City and was taken to the hospital but passed away about an hour later.


No circumstances suggesting criminal suspicion were found at the scene. After the autopsy conducted on the 15th of last month resulted in a preliminary verbal opinion of "unknown cause of death," the police have been awaiting the detailed examination results.


Park Boram, who gained recognition by appearing on Mnet's audition program Superstar K2 in 2010, officially debuted in 2014 with the song "Yeppeojyeotda" and continued active promotions. She also released a new song titled "Bogosipda Beolsseo" on the 3rd.
