"Let's Become the Dream Keeper of the Youth"… Lee Jae-hyun's Social Contribution, Presidential Citation

CJ Nanum Foundation Contributes to Healthy Growth of Over 2 Million Youths
Three Support Program Beneficiaries Also Receive Ministerial Commendation

CJ Nanum Foundation announced on the 23rd that it received the Presidential Citation at the 20th Korea Youth Expo Youth Development and Protection Merit Awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.


The Youth Development and Protection Merit Award is given to individuals, organizations, and companies who have devoted themselves to fostering the healthy growth of youth and creating a youth-friendly social environment across various sectors of society, as well as to exemplary youth who demonstrate proactive activities.

Since its establishment in 2005, CJ Nanum Foundation was recognized for contributing to the realization of dreams of over 2 million youths by providing systematic cultural education and experience opportunities through cultural sharing for 19 years, earning the citation.


Recipients of CJ Nanum Foundation’s support programs were also selected as awardees. For the citation awarded to youths who serve as role models to their peers through proactive activities, Kim Eun-ho, a participant of the 'CJ Donors Camp Dream Growth Academy,' Kim Yi-jin, a participant of the 'CJ Donors Camp Dream Again,' and Byun Sang-hoon, a 'CJ Donors Camp Dream Growth Scholarship' recipient, were each selected as recipients of the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Citation.


A representative of CJ Nanum Foundation stated, "We will continue to spare no effort in supporting systematic cultural education and experiences for the growth of future talents and the realization of youth dreams."


Meanwhile, CJ Nanum Foundation was established based on the social contribution philosophy of Chairman Lee Jae-hyun (Chairman of CJ Group), who believes that "companies should be the guardians of young people’s dreams." Through the online sharing platform CJ Donors Camp, it has practiced cultural social contributions by organically cooperating with CJ affiliates and utilizing a wide range of infrastructure. It has provided a total of approximately 18,000 cultural education and experience programs cumulatively across all projects, including the 'Cultural Proposal' supporting cultural education and camps, the cultural enjoyment support project 'Seat Sharing,' and the self-directed cultural creation support project 'CJ Donors Camp Youth Cultural Clubs.'
