The golf integrated platform ‘SHWOGOLF’ has acquired Japan’s Satsuma Golf & Onsen Resort and is recruiting golfers to participate in a new experience program.
It is called the ‘Minus 5 Program.’ The program aims to reduce golf scores and skin age by 5 each, and extend lifespan by 5 years. Participants in the Minus 5 Program engage daily in lesson programs prepared by Satsuma Golf & Onsen Resort every morning. The golf program offers a variety of content each day. During the stay at the resort, participants can receive various lessons including driver shots, approach shots, and putting. After the lessons, a golf round is conducted immediately, allowing participants to experience the effect of lowering their golf scores in real play.
Satsuma Golf & Onsen Resort features a 100% natural hot spring from Mount Aso, one of Japan’s three major hot springs. Guests can enjoy open-air hot springs and indoor/outdoor swimming pools within the resort. The hot springs are especially effective for shoulder stiffness, joint pain, muscle pain, frozen shoulder, neuralgia, cold sensitivity, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic digestive diseases, and skin diseases. They are known to aid in fatigue recovery and health improvement. The resort’s natural hot springs are available without restriction from 6 a.m. to midnight.
The swimming pool operates from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Golfers interested in skin recovery and anti-aging will find it worthwhile to experience. The Kagoshima region is famous for its pristine natural environment. According to the World Air Quality Index (WAQI), the air quality index here is between 0 and 50 CAI, indicating good air quality. The Minus 5 Program recruits participants once a month starting from the 29th, offering 3-night 4-day and 6-night 7-day options. June and July sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be made through the XGolf app.
