Gaon Group Secures Contract to Advance AI OTT Solution... "Expanding Middle East Market"

Gaon Group, a total AI solution specialist company, announced on the 23rd that it has signed a contract to advance OTT device AI solutions with Bein Media Group (hereinafter referred to as Bein), a major satellite communication operator in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Bein, headquartered in Qatar, is a global company providing sports and entertainment services to over 40 countries across five continents including the Middle East, North America, and Europe.

Last year, Gaon Group was selected as the sole vendor for Bein’s premium OTT device product line and supplied the contracted volume. These products, which were the first for Bein to incorporate AI functions and the YouTube application, reflected local consumer needs and have received positive feedback from the market and clients since their launch.

With this additional contract, Gaon Group will integrate and advance AI solutions based on Amazon’s AI voice assistant “Alexa” into OTT devices. This will maximize user convenience by enabling control of key device functions through AI voice recognition, and is expected to further increase demand.

Given that Bein is a rapidly growing global company through its media content business, including exclusive broadcasting of major sports events, the potential for future business expansion is immense, making the significance of this additional contract substantial.
