The Hansae Summer Tour program was conducted as part of the industry-academia cooperation established in 2019 between Wilson College at North Carolina State University (NCSU) and Hansae Co., Ltd. In February, Hansae participated in the '2024 Wilson College Spring Career Fair' to recruit participants for the 'Hansae Summer Tour' program and selected eight final candidates through document screening and interviews.

The eight Wilson College students who participated in the Hansae Summer Tour program toured various departments such as Sales, R&D, and QA at Hansae’s headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul on the 14th. After departing from Seoul to Vietnam on the same day, the students visited Hansae’s Vietnam production factories, which incorporate automated technologies, from the 15th to the 17th.

The students visited C&T VINA, Hansae’s fabric subsidiary, the TG factory equipped with advanced automation technology, and the Hansae HCM office located in downtown Ho Chi Minh City.

During their visit to Hansae’s Vietnam TG factory, the students experienced the apparel production automation system, hanger line system, unmanned automated delivery robots (AGV), and the smart tech system technology HAMS 2.0, gaining firsthand experience of an innovative manufacturing environment based on IT technology. At the Hansae HCM office, they explored various 3D design samples and experienced Hansae’s differentiated 3D design capabilities.

Kim Ik-hwan, Vice Chairman of Hansae Co., Ltd., stated, “We will continue to conduct such tours to actively recruit world-class fashion majors to Hansae and become a truly global fashion tech leading company.”

Hansae Co., Ltd. is a global ODM company operating 22 subsidiaries and 10 overseas offices in nine countries worldwide, including the United States, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Haiti. Over 50,000 employees work at Hansae, producing and supplying apparel for globally renowned brands such as Walmart, Target, and GAP.
