Over 1,200 Types of Wine Available at 16 Stores Nationwide
Hyundai Department Store announced on the 23rd that it will hold the largest wine fair in its history. The 'Corkage-Free Week,' held from the 24th of this month to the 2nd of next month at 16 stores nationwide, including the Apgujeong Main Store, will feature participation from renowned domestic wineries such as Shindong, Nara, Geumyang, and Cave de Vin, showcasing a total of over 1,200 types of wine. The prepared quantity is 900,000 bottles, making it the largest wine fair ever held by Hyundai Department Store.
During the event, Hyundai Department Store has prepared a large selection of premium wines classified as Grand Cru 1st growth. Representative examples include Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2009 (1,950,000 KRW), Chateau Ozon 2014 (1,350,000 KRW), Chateau Latour 2012 (1,250,000 KRW), and Chateau d'Yquem 2005 (770,000 KRW). Exclusive products available only during Corkage-Free Week have also been prepared, such as the Edizione Glass Package (74,000 KRW) and Desconocido Glass Package (18,000 KRW).
In particular, Hyundai Department Store will provide a 'Restaurant Corkage-Free' coupon to app members during the event period, allowing them to enjoy wines purchased at the department store in the restaurants located within the department store at no additional cost. The coupon can be used by presenting the wine purchase receipt and the coupon at the restaurant area.
Customer experience events will also be held. For subscribers of the YouTube 'Corkage-Free' channel, free wine tasting events recommended by sommeliers will take place at wine corners in five stores, including Apgujeong Main Store and Pangyo Store, with wine glasses given as gifts to participating customers. Additionally, a 'Gala Dinner' introducing various wines and foods by No Tae-jung, Hyundai Department Store’s chief sommelier, will be held. It is scheduled to be held sequentially starting from the Apgujeong Main Store and Mokdong Store on the 28th, The Hyundai Seoul on the 29th, Trade Center Store on the 30th, and The Hyundai Daegu on the 31st.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, "We plan to add more fun to visiting the department store with various customer experience events and attractions," and added, "We will continue to prepare diverse and unique services that satisfy the segmented tastes of customers."
