Namgu Councilor Park Sang-gil Proposes 'Low-Income Elderly Denture and Implant Support Ordinance'

The 'Nam-gu Low-Income Elderly Denture and Implant Support Ordinance,' spearheaded by Park Sang-gil, a member of the Nam-gu District Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, passed the Social Construction Committee of the 301st Extraordinary Session on the 22nd.

The main contents of the ordinance include ▲ the purpose and definition of terms ▲ eligibility and scope of support ▲ applicable subjects ▲ application for support and payment, among others.

With the passage of this ordinance, it is expected that the economic burden related to the restoration of oral functions for low-income elderly will be alleviated.

Councilor Park said, "I hope this will help low-income elderly restore oral functions and lead a healthy life."

The ordinance is scheduled to be enacted through deliberation and resolution at the 4th plenary session of the 301st Nam-gu Council Extraordinary Session to be held on May 27.
