The ‘University Support Project Contributing to High School Education’ is a program aimed at enhancing the fairness and transparency of college admissions and linking high school curricula with college admissions to strengthen high school education. Seoul Women’s University has been selected for this support project for 17 consecutive years since starting the ‘Admissions Officer System Support Project’ in 2008. This evaluation was based on the results of project operations from 2022 to 2023 and the university’s admission plan for the 2025 academic year.
Through the University Support Project Contributing to High School Education, Seoul Women’s University plans to continuously promote and expand efforts to ▲ensure fairness and accountability in college admissions ▲reduce the burden of college entrance preparation for applicants ▲strengthen the university’s student selection function and enhance expertise ▲improve the linkage between high school education and college admissions.
Additionally, the university continues to operate college admissions information disclosure programs for applicants, such as the SWU Admissions Academy, mock admissions, one-on-one admission counseling, and major experience programs, while collaborating with high schools and metropolitan/provincial offices of education to support the stable establishment of the high school credit system.
Han Seung-hee, Director of Admissions at Seoul Women’s University, stated, “We will continue to operate college admissions processes that are fairer and more trustworthy for applicants and run projects through this support program that provide practical help to high school education sites, contributing to nurturing talent together with high schools and universities.”
