"Stabilizing the Supply of Wheeled Armored Vehicles"
Hyundai Rotem announced on the 22nd that it signed a 'Strategic Partnership Agreement' with the Peruvian Army Ordnance Factory at the Peruvian Army Headquarters in Lima on the 20th (local time).

The signing ceremony was attended by Dina Boluarte, President of Peru; Walter Astudillo Chavez, Minister of National Defense of Peru; Choi Jong-wook, Ambassador to Peru; Lee Yong-bae, CEO of Hyundai Rotem; and Park Sang-jun, CEO of STX.
This cooperation agreement was initiated following STX's selection as the preferred negotiation partner in the bidding for the Peruvian Army Ordnance Factory's wheeled armored vehicle strategic cooperation partner on the 30th of last month (local time). The goal is to establish a cooperative relationship to successfully carry out the project.
The project marks Hyundai Rotem's first overseas export of wheeled armored vehicles and the first entry of domestically produced combat armored vehicles into the Latin American region.
After the final contract, Hyundai Rotem plans to supply 30 units of the K808 'Baekho' wheeled armored vehicles to the Peruvian Army through STX.
