Support for Job-Seeking Youth Certificate Acquisition, Operation of Three Certificate Courses Including Drone
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, has been selected for the 2024 Regional Specialized Youth Project competition hosted by the Office for Government Policy Coordination's Youth Policy Coordination Office and the Central Youth Support Center of the Youth Foundation, and will support local job-seeking youth in obtaining certifications.
According to the county on the 21st, the Regional Specialized Youth Project is a program where local youth centers develop and implement region-specific programs tailored to the needs and characteristics of youth in the area. Haenam-gun will operate specialized employment training for youth preparing for jobs at the Youth Doodream Center.
The certification acquisition class consists of courses for highly utilized certifications in the region, including Drone Class 1, Computerized Accounting, and GTQ (Graphic Technology Qualification). Candidates will be recruited according to the project schedule, and after all courses are completed, the program will be operated to allow participants to take the certification exams.
A county official stated, "We aim to provide job-seeking youth with opportunities to secure employment and establish a foundation for receiving quality employment education within the county."
Meanwhile, the Haenam-gun Youth Doodream Center, opened in 2021, has established itself as a hub for local youth by operating various programs to revitalize youth culture and providing job-seeking counseling and customized employment support systems through its job cafe.
