Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Bok-gyu) announced on the 21st that it is recruiting companies to apply for the ‘2024 Excellent Job Creation Company Certification’ to discover and select outstanding companies that have contributed to job creation and employment stability.
The ‘Excellent Job Creation Company Certification’ is conducted for companies located in the province (headquarters or main factory) that have been operating normally for more than two years, targeting manufacturing, manufacturing-related service industries, and knowledge-based service industries.
The eligibility criteria are as follows: ▲ Companies with 300 or more employees must have a job growth rate of 5% or more in the past year ▲ Companies with 50 to less than 300 employees must have a job growth rate of 5% or more in the past year or an increase of 5 or more employees ▲ Companies with fewer than 50 employees must have an increase of 3 or more employees in the past year.
After application submission, evaluation will be conducted through document screening and on-site inspection, and the final selection results will be announced in November.
Selected excellent job creation companies will receive support of 14 million KRW per company for improving employment conditions, a certificate and plaque, as well as indirect benefits such as preferential loans for facilities and operating funds, and exemption from local tax audits.
A Hwasun-gun official stated, “Since the Excellent Job Creation Company Certification is hosted by Jeollanam-do, we hope that interested companies will actively apply to receive incentives,” and added, “Companies wishing to participate should visit or send their applications by mail to the Hwasun-gun Regional Economy Division by September 15.”
