The main items for guidance and inspection include: ▲ whether employees have undergone health checkups ▲ hygiene management of workplaces and cooking utensils ▲ wearing of sanitary hats and masks ▲ display, storage, or sale of products past their expiration dates ▲ compliance with labeling standards and food storage temperature regulations.

Song Kilgwang, head of the Health and Hygiene Division, said, "Although the use of delivery apps has decreased compared to before, there are still many cases where food is ordered through delivery, so it is necessary to strengthen hygiene at delivery-specialized restaurants. We will also strive to prevent food safety accidents in unmanned food stores through continuous inspection and management."

Previously, the city conducted a full inspection of 3,579 restaurants registered on delivery apps over the past year, and as a result, imposed administrative measures such as business suspension and fines on 11 establishments that violated the Food Sanitation Act, including storing products past their expiration dates and failing to conduct health checkups.
