Cooperative Organization Leaders Attend to Discuss Policies Together

The Muan Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Kang Yong-jun) plans to focus its efforts on activities for the residents of Muan-gun during this year's busy farming season, including preventing agricultural product theft and agricultural machinery accidents.

According to Muan Police, at 10 a.m. on the 21st, all department staff, including local police officers, gathered to hold a crime prevention strategy meeting under the theme "Muan Police Activities During the Busy Farming Season."

This meeting discussed overall police activities for local residents during the busy farming season, including △prevention of agricultural product theft △prevention of burglary △prevention of agricultural machinery accidents △disaster and weather-related disaster management △protection of socially vulnerable groups.

In particular, heads of cooperative organizations such as the Chairman of the Muan Police Station Police Development Committee, the Chairman of the Security Advisory Committee, the President of the Model Drivers Association, and the Commander of the Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps also attended to participate in policy discussions.

Kim Seung-hyun, Commander of the Autonomous Crime Prevention Corps, who attended the meeting, said, "As a member of the community, I feel that I am part of the process from the planning stage of police activities," adding, "It seems to have been a meaningful occasion. I will continue to take the lead in cooperative security activities."

Meanwhile, Muan Police plans to carry out security activities during the busy farming season until June.
