Namseoul University Designated as 'Dementia Overcoming Leading University' on the 2nd
Namseoul University signed a business agreement with Cheonan City to create a dementia-friendly environment.
Namseoul University announced on the 21st that it has signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding for Creating a Dementia-Friendly Environment' with Cheonan City.
The agreement follows Namseoul University's designation as a 'Dementia Overcoming Leading University' by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on the 2nd of this month.
Namseoul University is expected to contribute to creating a dementia-friendly environment by cooperating in training specialized dementia care personnel and through volunteer activities utilizing university students' major knowledge and talents.
Yoon Seung-yong, President of Namseoul University, stated, "Through this agreement, the university will faithfully fulfill its role in building a community where people can live together with dementia."
