DTW 2024, held over four days starting from the 20th, carried the theme of 'Accelerating AI Adoption to Realize Innovation.' Approximately 10,000 participants, including global IT companies and developers, attended seminars and panel discussions on the latest technology trends.
On the first day of the event, CEO Hwang participated in the keynote speech by Michael Dell, Chairman of Dell Technologies, presenting on the topic of 'The Future of Generative AI and Hyperautomation.' Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, and Bill McDermott, Chairman of ServiceNow, also took part in the keynote speeches.
CEO Hwang stated, "Recently, many companies have shown interest in adopting generative AI services and automating corporate tasks using large language models (LLM). Samsung SDS has been striving to find ways to automate enterprise business systems and solutions through conversational methods, and as a result, we have launched generative AI services FabriX and Brity Copilot."
FabriX is a cloud-based generative AI service platform that connects various corporate data, knowledge assets, and IT resources such as business systems with generative AI, enabling employees to easily share and use them. Brity Copilot is a service that applies generative AI to collaboration solutions supporting common corporate tasks such as email, meetings, messaging, and document management.
Samsung SDS’s generative AI services can be linked with various LLMs desired by enterprises. A key strength is supporting diverse environments, including private clouds, to ensure security for corporate clients handling sensitive data.
CEO Hwang emphasized, "As customer demand for high-performance enterprise generative AI services increases, efficient and stable operation of graphics processing unit (GPU) servers becomes crucial. Through a close partnership with Dell, Samsung SDS can provide generative AI services to enterprise customers quickly and cost-effectively."
Looking ahead, CEO Hwang predicted that all computing technologies will evolve toward easily uploading and running applications and solutions with language interfaces. He said, "The era of GPU-centric computing is coming, and Samsung SDS will lead this transformation."
