Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) carried out a cleanup activity at Dorimcheon Stream on the morning of the 20th.
District Mayor Moon Heon-il and over 100 members of the Carbon Neutral Citizens' Action Group, following their cleanup of Anyangcheon Stream on the 24th of last month, took on the task of cleaning Dorimcheon Stream on this day.

They participate in the formulation of key policies for Guro-gu's carbon neutrality projects, conduct joint inspections of pollutant-emitting businesses, and promote energy consumption reduction in households and buildings through initiatives such as Eco Mileage.
The cleanup activity was conducted by dividing participants into two teams.

The Citizens' Association for the Love of Anyangcheon Stream, ecological interpreters, and climate change response leaders took charge of a 1 km section from the Street Park Five-way Intersection to Guro 1 Bridge, maintaining the bridges and the river basin.
In particular, District Mayor Moon Heon-il personally entered Dorimcheon Stream wearing chest waders to remove floating debris from the stream.
District Mayor Moon Heon-il said, “I thank all the environmental organizations who are making efforts in various ways for the clear environment of Guro-gu,” and added, “Our Guro-gu will strive not only to clean the streams but also to protect the environment by responding to the climate crisis.”
