Dobong-gu to Recruit Participants for 2024 Overseas Trade Delegation Until the 31st

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) is recruiting local companies to participate in the 'LA Korean Festival' as part of the Dobong-gu Overseas Trade Delegation.
Selected companies will qualify to participate in the 'LA Korean Festival' held at Seoul International Park in LA Koreatown, operating exhibition and sales booths and conducting on-site sales during the festival period from September 26 to 29.
The recruiting companies must be small and medium-sized manufacturers located in Dobong-gu. A total of five companies will be selected, and the selected companies will receive support for booth rental fees, logistics costs, and more.
The application period is until May 31. Those wishing to participate can download the application form from the Dobong-gu website, fill it out, and submit it via email to the person in charge.
The district will review the potential for overseas market entry and select candidates, with individual notifications planned for June. Afterwards, a pre-briefing session will be held for participating companies to provide guidance on reference materials and preparation procedures.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “To help local small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners explore overseas markets, we dispatched a market development team to LA, USA for the first time last year, achieving sales of $20,000 and export contracts worth $100,000.” He added, “This year, we are preparing more systematically based on last year’s experience. We will make sure to achieve even greater results this year.”
