A man in his 20s who wielded a weapon at a motel in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, was arrested by the police.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that they have arrested a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of attempted murder and are currently investigating him. Mr. A is accused of stabbing another man in his 20s, Mr. B, multiple times with a weapon at a motel in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 1 p.m. that day.
According to the police, the two met through a secondhand trading app. It is reported that an argument broke out while they were gambling at the motel. The police responded to a report of a stabbing and arrested Mr. A at the scene. Mr. B, who sustained serious injuries, was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident with Mr. A and others involved.
