Self-development platform NextPotent will launch the 'CEO Nongeo School' for current and prospective business executives on June 5.
'CEO Nongeo School' is a flagship leadership program that began last year, focusing on human infinite potential and developing and providing specialized educational programs for capabilities that humans must proactively demonstrate without technological replacement in the future society. In particular, it specializes in leadership, the highest human capability, and is the only domestic education company to establish a leadership education system learned through royal studies, possessing differentiated content and know-how.
'CEO Nongeo School' is an orthodox leadership course that comprehensively masters insights and lessons derived from the Analects (Nongeo) by leaders in the business field.
Choi Seong-ho, author of "The DX: Digital Transformation Execution Textbook" and CEO of Connect Investment and Meta Consulting Labs, said, "I was able to learn meta-leadership that encompasses all leadership of the past, present, and future."
Starting from the June class, the program will provide detailed education on how to properly recognize and evaluate the qualities and roles required of leaders within the overall flow of national and corporate founding, growth, revival, and decline.
By interpreting Analects passages in connection with history and modern real-life cases, the program enhances practical understanding and application skills. Familiar Joseon monarchs such as Taejong, Sejong, and Sukjong, as well as founders of Korean economy like Hoam Lee Byung-chul, Manwoo Cho Hong-je, Yeonam Gu In-hoe, and Asan Chung Ju-yung, are studied together based on the essence of leadership learned from the Analects and their management records and sayings.
The lectures are led by Principal Lee Han-woo, author of "Interpreting the Analects with the Analects (2012)" and "Lee Han-woo's Analects Lecture (2024)." Since starting the Nongeo Climbing School in 2016, Principal Lee has focused on nurturing future leadership by directly translating and lecturing on royal studies classics such as Daehak Yeonui (Great Learning Elucidation), Zhouyi (I Ching), and Hanseo (Book of Han).
Regarding the purpose of establishing 'CEO Nongeo School,' Principal Lee Han-woo said, "Starting with the Analects and properly understanding Confucius, I began to revisit founders' memoirs anew. Many things that were previously unseen became visible. Although each founder had different styles, the way they read the times, seized opportunities, and accomplished tasks fundamentally resembled Confucius. The diverse appearances of founders serve as role models for gentleman-type leaders for us."
The regular offline lectures are held every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at NextPotent Campus 'Seoul Forest Yanghyeonjae' in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. If attending in person is difficult, online remote attendance is also available. Recorded lecture videos are provided for the convenience of attendees.
The entire course is divided into seven sections, and anyone can register for any section at any time to start the lectures immediately. Each section lasts 1 to 2 months, and completing all seven sections takes a total of 10 months.
