Muan-gun Muan-eup Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force, Volunteer Service for Improving Housing Conditions of Vulnerable Groups

Interior Work in Progress Including Wallpapering, Flooring, and Light Fixture Replacement

On the 20th, the Woori Neighborhood Welfare Task Force (Captain Go Seok-man) in Muan-eup, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that they conducted a volunteer activity on the 16th to improve the living environment for vulnerable groups in the area.


During the activity, the team focused on vulnerable households in need of housing environment improvements, carrying out interior work such as wallpapering, flooring, and lighting replacement, with everyone working together to ensure the households could live in a clean and comfortable environment.

An elderly resident of the beneficiary household expressed gratitude to the task force members, saying, "There was a lot of mold and old grime in the house, which was upsetting every time I saw it, so I am thankful for this help," and added, "The house has become bright and clean, and I am very happy."


Meanwhile, the Woori Neighborhood Welfare Task Force in Muan-eup is a public-private cooperative organization composed of 15 members. They provide various volunteer services such as wallpaper and flooring replacement, door frame replacement, lighting replacement, and small-scale repairs to households facing physical or economic difficulties or low-income vulnerable groups, serving as a reliable support in the local community.
