Satisfaction with the School Support Centers operated by the Chungnam Office of Education has been found to be high.

According to the Chungnam Office of Education on the 20th, 14 education support offices operate School Support Centers to reduce teachers' administrative workload.

The centers have 110 dedicated staff members, including supervisors and short-term and health class support teachers, stationed full-time.

The centers provide class support when there are gaps due to teachers' sick leave or annual leave. They also support classes in schools without assigned health teachers.

For schools that apply, contract teachers are also hired on consignment, and mentoring for less experienced teachers is supported.

A survey conducted last year on School Support Centers nationwide showed that satisfaction with the centers in the Chungnam region scored 4.57 out of 5, higher than the national average of 4.45.

Regarding the reduction of teachers' administrative workload, the score was 4.23 (agree), also higher than the national average of 4.17.

Based on this, the Office of Education plans to expand the personnel and projects of the School Support Centers to help reduce teachers' administrative tasks.

Additionally, they will appoint a task force to support the efficiency of school administrative work and establish an integrated system dedicated to workload reduction, creating an environment where teachers can focus on teaching.

Myung Nobyung, Director of Planning, said, "In a recent survey by teachers' organizations, teachers cited excessive administrative work as a difficulty in carrying out educational activities," adding, "We will support various policies so that teachers can concentrate on their classes."
