KG Mobility is officially launching its certified used car business.
On the 20th, KG Mobility announced that it will open an offline showroom for certified used cars at Seo Seoul Motorium in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The company plans to transparently disclose product information and provide after-sales service.
Certified used cars go through a total of seven stages (incoming inspection, detailed diagnosis, performance improvement, exterior improvement, merchandising inspection, certification inspection, and outgoing inspection) and over 280 diagnostic items before being merchandised. Inspection results are transparently provided through the website.
Additionally, KG Mobility conducts the merchandising process and quality certification procedures, including detailed diagnosis and quality improvement, at the 'KGM Gunpo Metropolitan Service Center,' the first manufacturer-operated service center in Korea. Vehicles within 5 years/100,000 km are purchased, and a free warranty is provided up to 1 year/20,000 km from the time of purchase (including the free warranty period provided at the time of new car sale).
Pricing is set based on actual transaction data from the past year. The company also operates a 'responsible refund system' that guarantees a refund within 3 days if customers are dissatisfied with the vehicle they ordered (Naechasagi). All purchasing processes, including sales, estimates, contracts, payments, and delivery, can be completed online through the website.
Along with this, KG Mobility opened its first offline showroom at Seo Seoul Motorium in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, displaying about 70 vehicles. The company plans to add more key locations in the future.
A KG Mobility official said, "We will do our best so that consumers can confidently purchase highly reliable used cars, thinking of them not as simple used cars but as 'another car directly made by KGM.'"
