Cooling and Dehumidification Upgrade
On the 20th, Kiturami announced the launch of the ‘2024 Kiturami Window Air Conditioner,’ which enhances cooling efficiency and dehumidification functions. The 2024 Kiturami Window Air Conditioner improves dehumidification performance by up to 75% compared to previous models. When operating in dehumidification mode, it can remove up to 40ℓ of indoor moisture per day.
Equipped with a low-noise dual inverter compressor that operates efficiently according to indoor temperature, it achieves energy efficiency grade 1, and when running in sleep mode, it operates at a minimum noise level of 33 dB, quieter than a library. In particular, when the newly added Eco Mode is activated, it quickly lowers the indoor temperature and then gradually adjusts the wind strength over 8 hours, saving about 60% energy compared to normal mode.
Convenience has also been enhanced so that it can be easily self-installed alone in studios, officetels, and small offices. Handle-type screws are applied to fixed parts such as the bracket, allowing installation by turning the screws by hand without separate tools. A motion detection function is also applied to check for external intrusion and respond quickly. The motion detection sensor installed on the front of the product sends notifications to the smartphone app if no object movement is detected for a certain period during cooling operation or if object movement is detected for a certain period during operation stop.
A Kiturami Boiler official stated, “As Korea’s summer climate changes to a hot and humid subtropical climate, with last summer recording the 4th highest heatwave and the 3rd highest heavy rain simultaneously, we have upgraded not only the cooling performance but also the dehumidification function of the window air conditioner,” adding, “This product is suitable for a frugal summer as it is easy to install and maintain and has high energy efficiency.”
