150 Billion KRW Budget Invested... Targeting 2026
SME Venture ONE Platform
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on the 20th that it will promote the construction project of the next-generation information system, the ‘Small and Medium Venture ONE Platform,’ for digital and data-based business innovation. This project involves a complete reconstruction of the existing business system built in 2008 into a high-performance cloud-based system, with a budget of approximately 15 billion KRW to be invested over the next 20 months. Currently, a bidding process for selecting contractors is underway on the Kibo website, and the project is scheduled to officially commence in August this year and open in January 2026.
Kibo has set three core strategies for building the ONE platform: ▲providing customer services based on digital technology ▲implementing nonstop services based on data ▲establishing a flexible and scalable information infrastructure. The plan focuses on building a cloud-based high-performance infrastructure, modernizing outdated applications, and constructing a user-centered, highly efficient business system.
Additionally, by designing efficient information access routes and a user interface (UI) that offers an intuitive user experience (UX), the work efficiency of internal employees is also expected to improve significantly. Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, stated, “Through the construction of the Small and Medium Venture ONE Platform, we expect to actively support not only rapid funding for small and medium enterprises but also technology commercialization and innovative growth,” adding, “Kibo will continue to pursue digital innovation to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises and enhance customer convenience.”
