Since the LPGA Tour season opener, the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in January, they have gone 12 consecutive tournaments without a trophy. On the 19th (local time), Kim Se-young finished tied for 7th place (9-under 279) after shooting 1-under in the final round of the Mizuho Americas Open (total prize money $3 million) held at Liberty National Golf Club (par 72, 6,656 yards) in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA. This was the best result among Korean players.

Starting tied for 8th place, 5 strokes behind the leader, Kim Se-young recorded 4 birdies, 1 bogey, and 1 double bogey. Although she had a shaky start with a double bogey on the 4th hole (par 3), she made 'stepping stone birdies' on the 8th and 10th holes, followed by consecutive birdies on the 12th and 13th holes to fiercely chase the leaders. However, after parring the next three holes, a bogey on the 17th hole (par 4) took her out of contention for the win. This marks her third top-10 finish this year, following a tie for 3rd at the Honda LPGA Thailand in February and the T-Mobile Match Play in April.

Jeon In-ji shot 2-under to rise to a tie for 14th place (8-under 280). Yang Hee-young, Shin Ji-eun, and Lee So-mi tied for 28th place (6-under 282), Ahn Na-rin tied for 34th (4-under 284), and Kang Min-ji finished tied for 41st (2-under 286). World No. 5 Ko Jin-young ended the tournament tied for 49th (even par 288).

World No. 1 Nelly Korda (USA) added 1-under par to secure a one-stroke victory (14-under 274). This was her sixth win of the season and 14th career victory, following a five-win streak at last month's major, the Chevron Championship. Her winner's prize was $450,000 (approximately 600 million KRW). Hannah Green (Australia) fought hard with a 2-under round but had to settle for second place (13-under 275). A mistake on the tee shot at the final 18th hole (par 4), resulting in a bogey, was a regretful moment as she had been co-leading. Ariya Jutanugarn (Thailand) and two others tied for third place (10-under 278).
