Jungjingong Wins Grand Prize in Public Enterprise Category at Korea Logistics Awards Ceremony

Contribution to Resolving Export Logistics Challenges for SMEs

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 19th that it won the grand prize in the public enterprise category at the '2024 Korea Logistics Awards Ceremony' hosted by the Korea Logistics Association.

Since 1998, the Korea Logistics Association has held the Korea Logistics Awards Ceremony to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic logistics industry and to select and honor companies, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the development of the national economy.

Jeong Dong-ho, Head of the Overseas Expansion Business Division at the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, is taking a commemorative photo after receiving the 'Grand Prize' in the public enterprise category at the 2024 Korea Logistics Awards ceremony held on the 17th.

The Small and Medium Business Corporation was recognized for its contributions to resolving export logistics difficulties for small and medium enterprises through various policy supports, including ▲ logistics-exclusive export voucher support ▲ joint online export logistics projects such as overseas shipping rate discounts ▲ securing exclusive shipping space for small and medium enterprises through business agreements with national shipping companies ▲ hosting smart logistics forums for analyzing the latest logistics trends and sharing knowledge.

Currently, the Small and Medium Business Corporation is collaborating with Incheon International Airport Corporation to establish a smart logistics center exclusively for small businesses engaged in air export. In the long term, it plans to secure logistics infrastructure to strengthen the logistics competitiveness of exporting small and medium enterprises at the lowest logistics cost.

Chairman Kang Seok-jin said, “We will continue to discover and strengthen new projects in various logistics fields to support exporting small and medium enterprises.”
