Samsung Electronics Launches New 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' Refrigerator Model

Samsung Electronics announced on the 17th that it will introduce a new 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator that provides a new artificial intelligence (AI) experience in everyday life.

The new product maintains the core AI and cooling functions of the premium refrigerator Bespoke AI Family Hub while enhancing the food storage capabilities. Although the exterior remains the same as before, it offers an expanded storage capacity of 861 liters (ℓ), increased by 19 liters, allowing for more food storage and features a 'long vegetable storage compartment' that makes it easy to store vegetables. Additionally, it is equipped with a powerful 'UV Clean Deodorizer' that sterilizes attached bacteria and eliminates food odors inside the refrigerator.

The 2024 model Bespoke AI Family Hub is equipped with the 'AI Vision Inside' feature, where an internal camera automatically recognizes food items placed on or taken off the shelves and creates a list. Even while cooking, users can utilize apps and smart home functions such as Google Photos, Samsung TV Plus, and YouTube through the touchscreen mounted on the right door. The product has received an energy efficiency rating of Grade 2. When the AI saving mode is set to level 2 in SmartThings, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 23%.
