Ulsan City, together with the Jung-gu District Office, will hold the "OK Civil Service On-Site Day" event from 2 PM to 5 PM on the 17th in the area around the Dinosaur Footprint Park.
Over 100 people, including Jung-gu District Mayor Kim Younggil, volunteers, private technicians, and related public officials, will participate in the event operations.
At 3 PM, Ulsan Mayor Kim Dukyum will visit the site to encourage the volunteers and public officials.
The event will focus on providing services that directly address various inconveniences in daily life, offering solutions that citizens can truly experience.
The main convenience services include knife sharpening, bicycle repair, plant repotting, wooden cutting board repair, shoe repair, and pet grooming.
Additionally, citizens who wish to participate can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities such as making natural air fresheners, balloon art, and instant photo booths, as well as receive free health consultations for high blood pressure, diabetes, and dementia prevention.
Side events such as a magic show and a marching band will also be featured to add to the entertainment.
Mayor Kim Dukyum said, "The OK Civil Service On-Site Service was first launched nationwide in 2009 when I served as the mayor of Nam-gu to resolve inconveniences experienced by residents in their daily lives. It is a meaningful milestone that the service has now been expanded to all districts and counties starting this year," adding, "I hope this initiative will continue for the benefit of our citizens."
