The district planned the poster contest to encourage residents to participate directly in promoting the harmful effects of tobacco and to create an atmosphere supportive of quitting smoking. This is the second year of the contest.
The contest is open to students enrolled in elementary, middle, and high schools within the district. The theme focuses on the harmful effects of cigarettes and new types of tobacco products, as well as encouraging smoking cessation.
Participants can freely use mediums such as ▲oil painting ▲watercolor ▲crayon drawing ▲computer graphics. The size of the artwork should be 4 cho (394mm×545mm). Only one entry per person is allowed. Submitted works will not be returned.
Those who wish to participate should submit their artwork along with the application form to the Health Administration Division, Healthy City Team at the Yongsan-gu Public Health Center. The related forms are posted in the “News” section on the Yongsan-gu website.
If requested by schools, the responsible officials will visit the schools to collect the artworks in bulk.

Winners will be selected as follows: for each school level (elementary, middle, high), ▲1 grand prize winner ▲2 excellence award winners ▲5 encouragement award winners, totaling 24 winners.
