"Don't Start a New Fight"

On the 16th, the Korea Severe Disease Alliance stated in a press release, "We hope that the long-standing medical service gap and further disputes and conflicts will end with this judicial decision," adding, "We urge the medical community not to prepare for a new fight just because the outcome is not what they wanted, and to immediately return to the medical field."

They continued, "The resignation of resident groups and medical school professors has caused unimaginable harm to patients, and patients have reached a point where even finding a hospital for further treatment is burdensome."

They also called on the government to start negotiations. The Korea Severe Disease Alliance said, "The government should respect the judicial decision, persuade the medical community, and proceed with negotiation processes to end the medical service gap," emphasizing, "Please convey to the medical community that the health rights of patients are being neglected and that the right to patient treatment is the most critical issue."
