Jo Min, daughter of Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, posted a video on her YouTube channel offering advice on subscribers' concerns. On the 15th, Jo posted a video titled "May Jjomin Counseling Center" on her YouTube channel 'Jjomin minchobae.' In the video, a subscriber shared a concern, saying, "My 20-year-old eldest daughter started living on her own when she went to college," and added, "I cry every day. Does my daughter think about her mother?"

After seeing this concern, Jo Min said, "I will tell you for sure," and began, "When I first lived on my own, my mother told me to come home every week. When I first started living alone, she told me to come home every weekend." She continued, "Now she doesn't tell me to come. She's busy living her own life," and added, "So, as a mother (subscriber), you might feel a great sense of loss because your child has left you, but after some time, you might think, 'It's so comfortable without my daughter around.'"

She further advised, "You can do whatever you want, go shopping, or go out to have fun; it will be very comfortable," and said, "Don't think, 'I'm crying like this, but does my daughter think about me?' Instead, focus on your own life." Regarding a question about how to reconcile with someone who hates you, she said, "There might be a boss who seems to hate me or is a bit scary. I do my best to show my goodwill."

When asked, "I'm currently 34 years old; is it okay to try a different job at 37?" she replied, "Of course, it's possible," and explained, "Unlike before, staying at one company for a long time doesn't guarantee promotion, and salaries nowadays are often too low to buy a house. Many people quit mid-career and try new jobs. While there's a chance of failure when trying something new, since you only live once, it's better to try everything you want and live without regrets." However, she recommended preparing well financially before quitting a job. Netizens who watched the video responded with comments such as "She has a thoughtful and upright value system," "I hope everyone overcomes their challenges positively," and "I support you."

Previously, Jo Min's mother, former Dongyang University professor Jeong Gyeongshim, has been continuing her writing activities, including recently publishing an essay. Jeong was sentenced to four years in prison in January 2022 for her involvement in her daughter Jo Min's college admission fraud case and was paroled in September last year.
