The emergency response drill held on the 14th focused on fire response, training on various situational response methods to minimize casualties in the event of a fire. Not only KORAIL Distribution employees but also about 30 tenant companies within the office building participated. The chief of Yeongdeungpo Fire Station personally observed the drill, and the Dangsan 119 Center also took part to enhance the professionalism of the fire response training.
KORAIL Distribution conducts emergency drills more than twice a year to ensure efficient response in the event of major accidents and disasters. In the second half of this year, an evacuation drill will be held in preparation for explosions and building collapse incidents.
A KORAIL Distribution official stated, "The only way to actively respond to emergencies is through experience gained from repeated drills," adding, "We will continue to work together with tenant companies to create a safe workplace."
