Promotion of Small Business Products at Oncheoncheon Artificial Waterfall Area in Dongnae-gu from 17th to 19th

The '1st Busan Small Business Win-Win Festival' to promote consumption of small business products will be held from the 17th to the 19th in the area around the Oncheoncheon Artificial Waterfall in Dongnae-gu.

The 1st Busan Small Business Win-Win Festival Held Poster for the 1st Busan Small Business Mutual Growth Festival.

This event consists of an opening ceremony, a sales exhibition, and various side events. It is hosted and organized by the Busan Small Business Association, with support from the city, Dongnae-gu Office, and Naver.

Established in 2020, the city’s Small Business Association has been selected as a supporting organization for Busan’s small business revitalization projects since 2021. The association has been actively promoting various initiatives to support small businesses during challenging times caused by sluggish consumption.

In November 2023, the association hosted the '2nd Busan Small Business Day Commemorative Event' at City Hall, where the small business product sales exhibition held as a side event received positive feedback from both small business owners and citizens.

Building on this, this year’s event has been planned as a platform for mutual growth, aiming to provide more sales opportunities to small businesses and offer various attractions for citizens in celebration of Family Month.

To host the event, the scale of the sales exhibition was expanded, and a location with good accessibility for citizens was sought to increase foot traffic and purchase rates. With active cooperation from the Dongnae-gu Office, the area around Oncheoncheon in Dongnae-gu was selected as the event venue.

Main attractions of the event include ▲86 booths for the small business sales exhibition ▲Naver Shopping Live Zone ▲Small Business Policy Promotion Center ▲Citizen Participation Programs, among others.

Cultural performances that will further enhance the event atmosphere are also scheduled daily with a variety of programs.

Additionally, a product purchase event is prepared, offering generous prizes to those who purchase products on-site.

Furthermore, the opening ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. on the first day, the 17th, at the outdoor performance stage within the venue.

Mayor Park, City Council Chairperson Ahn Sungmin, Dongnae-gu Mayor Jang Junyong, ESG Policy Representative Chae Seonju, officials from the Small Business Association Central Committee, and about 40 others are expected to attend and celebrate the opening.

The Naver Live Commerce Studio set up at the opening ceremony site will broadcast live sales shows to convey the excitement of the event, and special discounts will be offered during the broadcast.

Further details can be found on the website of the Busan Small Business Association.

Mayor Park Hyungjoon stated, “The Win-Win Festival, now in its inaugural year, is especially meaningful as it is not a government-led event, but one directly organized by the Small Business Association in collaboration with Naver.” He added, “I hope this event revitalizes the local economy and boosts domestic demand. Our city will continue to discover and promote effective policies to be a strong support for small businesses.”
