Pet Training Culture Brand "Gangajipul"
'Meongmaek Fest,' hosted by 'Gangajipool,' which offers a special day for pet owners and their dogs, will be held on June 15.
This tour features a variety of programs, including a healing time with dogs (stretching and massage class), expert seminars, and a brewery tour.
The tour begins at 10 a.m. at 'Annyeonghage,' a dog kindergarten in Busan. Pet owners will start their day with a refreshing tea time, while dogs enjoy a stretching and massage session with trainer Lee Sanghun, accompanied by healing music to awaken their senses.
Afterwards, a 'Dog Sensory Enrichment' class led by 16-year canine expert Kim Minhee will take place. This class is designed to enrich the five senses of dogs in various ways.
In the afternoon, participants will board a chartered bus for dogs and head to 'Tumbroi,' a traditional German brewery. There, they can enjoy a leisurely and romantic lunch with a platter that includes three signature beers?Helles, Weiss, and Roggen?along with handmade sausages, French fries, and sweet potato fries.
During the brewery tour, teachers from Annyeonghage kindergarten will take care of the dogs, while participants can experience drawing beer directly from the aging tanks?a unique experience.
Bae Jaewon, CEO of Gangajipool, said, "Currently, many pet owners face restrictions that prevent them from enjoying meals or a glass of beer with their dogs, and there are many cultural barriers that make it hard to relax because they have dogs. Through this event, I want to create a day where spending time with your dog is not an issue at all. I hope this tour will help spread a culture where pet owners and their dogs can enjoy life together."
This tour will be held on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the participation fee is 100,000 KRW. By using a coupon pack on the Gangajipool website, you can join at a discounted price of 90,000 KRW.
Each participant can bring one dog, and anyone who loves pet culture can join even without a dog.
Applications and further details can be found on the Gangajipool website.
The 'Gangajipool' brand was recognized for its value through selection and excellent graduation from the 2023 New Business Startup Academy, selection for the 2024 Youth Startup Academy, and the Strong Small Business Growth Support Project (Lifestyle) supported by the government.
As the first in the country to develop a matching system platform that connects canine experts and pet owners based on 'positive reinforcement' values, Gangajipool is actively leading the pet culture through offline seminars and online webinars.
CEO Bae Jaewon said, "'Gangajipool' pursues an educational and cultural brand that helps create a joyful pet life through a culture of enjoying life with dogs and education for both dogs and owners. Through the value of special experiences with dogs, we aim to prevent dog abandonment and solve the issue of stray dogs."
These values are further expanded through the 'Gangajichaek' project, which features stories of abandoned dogs and positive reinforcement training methods, and is recognized as a valuable effort to improve awareness about stray dogs.
