The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization has launched the Gyeonggi Tourism KkiTour Press Corps.
On the 14th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 15th that it held the "13th Gyeonggi Tourism KkiTour Press Corps Inauguration Ceremony" at its headquarters in Jangan-gu, Suwon.
The KkiTour Press Corps will visit various tourist destinations within the province and engage in activities such as creating review-based travel content based on experiences, posting on the "Gyeonggi Tourism Platform" and personal blogs, and participating in Gyeonggi Province fam tours. The activity period is from May to November, and the press corps members will receive appointment certificates, monthly manuscript fees, and priority coverage privileges for major events.
The name "KkiTour" was created by combining the two initial consonants "ㄱ" of "Gyeonggi," and it carries a double meaning of expressing each member's talent to create easy, fun, and useful travel information content about Gyeonggi Province.
A representative of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "With a sense of duty as ambassadors promoting Gyeonggi tourism and fitting the title of press corps, we expect to discover and experience hidden tourist resources full of charm that are not well known throughout Gyeonggi Province, and create differentiated content to contribute to the revitalization of the province's tourism industry."
